Terrible company to do business with. Lately since the owner has passed away the company has gone down hill. Dan Gorski the director their is very rude and has no knowledge of what is going on. Guy is totally disconnected with reality.
Products are great but as far as dealing with them and doing business that's a different story. They are a multi level marketing scheme where dealers do all the leg work for the company and the company provides a small slice of the pie. Oh and they terminated dealers based on free will. Definitely don't recommend anyone being a dealer. They also delete and block you from posting about your negative experiences.
That says alot about the company. I placed an order, received a confirmation email and A few days later, contacted them and was told that there was something wrong with payment so I needed to contact accounting that was - needless to say - closed. To save their valuable time, I just canceled the order. Despite whatever problem they may have faced with my credit card, my account reflects a successful charge that - a week later - has not been credited. Taking money for items they never intended to deliver is theft.
As a direct internet seller, amsoil. To this day, 3 months later, they still claim I haven't renewed my membership, while my Paypal and bank statement disagree. In addition, in my last order they only shipped 1 oil filter, when I had paid for 2. I believe Amsoil has superior products compared to what can be purchased locally, and I have the funds to give them, it's just that they don't want my money.
I use this oil and my camry runs for about miles flawlessly. I save probably 40 dollars in the timespan of oilchanges and I also don't have to worry about the going to get oil change every ooo miles.

Neither car ever used a drop of oil but once we changed the oil using the new formulation of 5W Signature Series Oil both cars started using oil.
Several of us who ATV together all use Amsoil and two other people experienced the same problem. I have used Amsoil for 15 years with no issues so I called Amsoil customer service and they did not seem to take my complaint seriously and effectively ignored my information.

After spending dozens of hours researching these brands, we learned a few interesting facts to share with you. Other famous companies that operate using this model include Advocare, Amway, Avon, Herbalife, Mary Kay and many more.
However, at the time consumers had no desire for a more expensive synthetic engine oil, so AMSOIL devised a new marketing strategy. Starting in AMSOIL was sold exclusively by independent dealers that could help sell the benefits of using a synthetic oil.
Not surprisingly, the new strategy worked. AMSOIL dealers pay a yearly membership fee to receive products at wholesale pricing then sell them to their customers at retail prices. This, of course, is how retail business models work. However, what makes AMSOIL different is that the authorized dealers also receive a commission on the sales of other dealers below them in the pyramid.
They make money if they can convince you to buy their oil and become a dealer in the process. Since they make more money selling AMSOIL, it is a no-brainer that they would stand up for their brand whether it is superior or not. The purpose of this back story was to make sure we are all on the same page about reviews of AMSOIL you might read online.
These include viscosity grade, oil change interval, and price. Despite what most so-called experts like to claim, the only important factor to consider when picking an oil for your engine is the viscosity grade. In all honesty, the leading brands of synthetic oil on the market are practically identical.
So, the most important decision for the consumer to make is which viscosity grade is appropriate for their vehicle. Using a synthetic engine oil with the wrong viscosity can cause premature engine wear, lower gas mileage and potential damage to your engine. For the longest time, conventional motor oils needed to be changed every 3, miles or 6 months, whichever came first. Today, most car manufacturers recommend changing the engine oil every 5, or 7, miles.
However, synthetic oils have a much longer lifespan and can last up to one year without being changed. Keep in mind the the recommended change interval varies depending on your driving habits.
